ZTE Corporation receives three prestigious GSMA GLOMO Awards at MWC Barcelona 2026 for its pioneering work in 5G-Advanced private networks, open gateway solutions, and event activation.

The company secured awards in three categories: "Best Private Network Solution," "Open Gateway Challenge" and "Best Event Activation." These awards underscore ZTE’s leadership and expertise in key areas of emerging technology.
ZTE, in collaboration with China Telecom, AGIBOT, and DroidUp, earned the "Best Private Network Solution" Award for their "EasyOn 5G-A-RobotNet" solution. This solution demonstrates how private cellular networks can revolutionize enterprise operations by integrating 5G-Advanced capabilities with intelligent robotics.
The EasyOn 5G-A-RobotNet solution enables the digitization of complex robotic tasks and allows for flexible and scalable automation. This is a significant improvement over traditional public cellular or Wi-Fi networks which lack the optimization for these types of applications. The system supports the management of diverse robots under a unified system, reducing costs for companies using large-scale robotics. Furthermore, the solution facilitates the real-time collection of high-quality data, accelerating the development of embodied AI models.
ZTE, working with China Mobile Group, China Mobile Hangzhou Research Institute, and JD.com, won the "Open Gateway Challenge" Award for their "AI-Powered Open Gateway" solution. This marks a consecutive win for this collaborative effort, highlighting their ongoing innovation.
This solution addresses the challenges faced by industry customers when using CAMARA APIs, such as high complexity and low efficiency. By leveraging ZTE’s core network products and an API Exposure AI Agent, the solution introduces significant advancements, including intent recognition, intelligent orchestration, cross-operator adaptation, and protocol extension. By using 5G/5G-A networks for network acceleration, customer service scenarios have been improved. The integration of various technologies, like messaging, voice, and video, creates a new model for intelligent customer service, boosting efficiency and customer satisfaction. This project creates a benchmark for next-generation call centers.
ZTE, in partnership with China Telecom and R&J, received the "Best Event Activation" Award for their "5G-A Powered Concert Live Streaming" project. This achievement marks the successful commercial deployment of 5G-A technology in the live concert streaming industry, paving the way for wider adoption in other live streaming applications like events, cultural activities, and education.
The solution was first implemented at the Hangzhou Olympic Sports Center in Zhejiang Province. The 5G-A EasyOn•Live solution achieves a single-camera uplink peak rate of over 2Gbps. Equipped with the NodeEngine computing engine, it shortens data transmission paths and enhances security. Supported by 5G-A SuperMIMO technology, it ensures stable image transmission even in adverse weather conditions. The EasyOn•Live solution allows for multiple-camera coverage, high-definition images, and ultra-stability, all within a single network. This approach solves the critical pain points for event organizers by removing the need for additional expensive hardware.
